Hugh Lanham FCA Director

Hugh is a Chartered Accountant, and reached partnership in a Cambridge firm relatively early on in his career.

In 1986 he broke away to form Lanham and Company. Due to a strong commitment to service and staff development the firm grew to a point where Hugh has been able to take a back seat in recent years. His main activities as Chairman are now focused on practice development, and he is still called upon for strategic support and advice to the firm and to its clients.

Hugh’s talent for financial consultancy, in particular corporate strategy and mentoring, has been of great benefit to all the organisations he has worked with over the years. His ability to foster new ways of thinking and to help individuals and teams to develop their skills has ensured success.

Hugh has been a director of many organisations, including small businesses, housing associations, charities and a building society. He has run a small holding for 20 years and is now a sustainability & self build expert with several books published to date.

Brad Bamfield MBA  Director

Brad Bamfield has been a developer and builder for over 30 years working all over the country. He has worked for large corporates, including BAA plc and managed large and small projects including the Stansted Airport expansion, the Daily Express building redevelopment in Manchester. Brad has created 3 property development groups from scratch building houses, offices, and industrial units.

In 2006 Brad decided that he wanted to change the way he worked and often found that good people were barred from buying his homes because they could not get a mortgage and were trapped in the uncertainty of renting.

The irony was that they were often paying as much in rent as they would be in mortgage and rather than selling the property to owner occupiers or buy to let landlords he wanted to help people buy their own home who had no other way of doing it.

By developing our own homes we can build what we want, and our Partners want, without the problems speculative developers leave us with small rooms, poor locations, fragmented communities.
